Regional Languages

Alantian: Alantian is the predominant language of Alantia. Alantian used to be the common language of Salairon, though recent events have lead to Ganalsh being spoken by more people than any other language. For out of character purposes Alantian is English.

Feyn: Feyn was the predominant language of Fenyin before the takeover of the Red Eyes. For out of character purposes, Feyn is Romanian with the following alteration to any word: Reverse all but the first and last letter of the word. (eg. Avere —> Areve)

Gahnalsh: Gahnalsh is the predominant language of Gahnal and given recent events is now the common language of Salairon. For out of character purposes Gahnalsh is Portugese with the following alteration to any word: Take the last two letters of the word and put them at the beginning. (eg. Cranio —> Iocran)

Tiynish: Tiynish is the predominant language of Tiyn. For out of character purposes, Tiynish is French with the following alteration to any word: Remove the first two letters of the word or if the word is only five letters or less then move those two letters to the end of the word.
(eg. Vestiges —> Stiges or Rouge —> Ugero)

Zastian: Zastian is the predominant language of Zast and is a merging of all languages in Salairon due to the varied population. For out of character purposes, Zastian is Indonesian with the following alteration to any word: Switch the last two letters of the word with the two letters behind them. (eg. Pemurah —> Pemahur)

Magical Languages.

Abyssal: The language of demons and other chaotic evil outsiders.

Aklo: The language of derros, inhuman or otherworldly monsters, and evil fey.

Aquan: The language of aquatic creatures, and water-based creatures.

Auran: The language of flying creatures, and air-based creatures.

Celestial: The language of angels and other good outsiders.

Draconic: The language of dragons, and reptilian humanoids.

Giant: The language of cyclops, ettins, giants, ogres, and trolls.

Goblin: The language of bugbears, goblins, and hobgoblins.

Gnoll: The language of gnolls.

Ignan: The language of fire-based creatures.

Infernal: The language of devils and other lawful evil outsiders.

Sylvan: The language of centaurs, fey creatures, plant creatures, and unicorns.

Terran: The language of earth-based creatures.

Undercommon: The language of morlocks and svirfneblin.

Secret & Ancient Languages.

Druidic: Only druids know this language. A Beast Master or Totem Catharsist may learn the language from a druid without causing the druid to lose their levels in druid.

Red Eyes: No name is yet given to the language of the Red Eyes. The only description which has been discovered of this language is the sound of gurgles and grunts. THe language’s origin is as much a mystery as the Red Eyes themselves.
